After the latest WhatsApp update for iPhones, we were able to reply to incoming messages when the device was on the lock screen, without entering the application, thanks to the feature called “quick reply”. Andorid devices have had a similar function for a long time. In this article, we examine step by step how to enable this feature.
We can enable this function in the notification settings of the Whatsapp application on Android devices.
Let’s follow the steps below.
- Let’s go to WhatsApp, touch the Settings option from the options icon in the upper right corner.
- Tap the “Notifications” option on the next screen as in the example below.
- Tap on the Popup Notification option.
- There are 4 option will come;
1-No popup window (selected)
2-Only when the screen is “on”
3-Only When the screen is “off”
4-Always show popups
- Tap on Always show popups.
- Let’s test it now!.. As can be seen in the screenshot below, the message from our friend is seen when the phone is on the lock screen.
- By touching it, we can go to the WhatsApp application or immediately write a reply from the cursor.
