Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on his monthly radio show ‘Mann ki Baat’ that ‘Google is killing those who want to read’.
A student from Haryana said, ‘I want to watch a movie or book a book during his busy agenda. Replying to the question of whether he has time to read or not, Modi answered the question with the following statements: “I have always loved to read books, but I can’t read a lot these days due to the influence of Google, Google has made us lazy because it is a resource we can always refer to.” He explained that he was not interested in watching movies or television regularly at the time, but that he watched Discovery Channel from time to time.
