Anker SoundCore Life Q10 bluetooth headphones review

We have examined in detail for you SoundCore Life Q10, Anker’s wireless headset that offers loud sound and up to 60 hours of audio performance.

We have reviewed many Anker equipment in the past.. In fact, Anker has become a company we know and trust.. Soundcore Life Q10 is also a headphone of the company designed with comfort and loud sound in mind.
If we start from the design, black and red colors dominate the headset.. Also available in black only, for those who want it.

The headset has a padded headband that can be rotated and folded up to 90 degrees, convenient to stow in a backpack.. The drivers fit comfortably around my ears and the headband doesn’t give you a headache even if you wear it for a long time.. I was able to use the earphones for several hours during flight without any pain or discomfort.

On the sides of the earphones, you’ll find some buttons. Some of these let you adjust the volume and control playback. Another functions as a power button and lets you pair the earphones to a smartphone or tablet.

You can engage the headset’s “BassUp” bass boost feature by pressing the play button twice, or long to summon Siri or Google Assistant.

Under the earphones, there is a MicroUSB port for charging and a 3.5mm jack.. Riders, on the other hand, are framed by soft foam and suitable for long-term wear.. I used them non-stop during my typical 10 hour work days. It started to make me sweat after a few hours of use, but it didn’t bother me.

Like other more expensive SoundCore products, this product does not come with a hard-shell protective carrying case in its box.. If you ask if there is any carrying case out of the box, unfortunately there is not.. This is not a problem for me. But these make it easy to tuck the earphones into a backpack or handbag.

The hard case also helps you not particularly worry about the SoundCore Life Q10 breaking. The hinges are well constructed and sturdy, while the drives are housed in a thick plastic shell that has proven to be reasonably drop resistant.

Performance

Anker, Soundcore Life Q10′ claims to have 60 hours of battery life. This, of course, provided you use it constantly. If there was ANC i.e. active noise canceling this would greatly reduce durability but ANC is not here. The 60-hour promise makes it an ideal choice for road warriors who spend long hours on trains or airplanes.. I couldn’t complete 60 hours, but I can say that I was able to actively use this headset for about 1 week on a single charge..

The Soundcore Life Q10 comes with a built-in microphone that allows you to make/receive phone calls as well as talk to your chosen voice assistant.. I used the headset to make a few voice calls and had no trouble being understood. Although it is not a problem when talking in environments such as home or office, there were moments when the other party had difficulty in hearing my voice when talking about places with a lot of cars, traffic, etc.

The sound performance is good. As with almost all Soundcore headphones, it has a sound profile that emphasizes the lower notes. You can feel the bass while listening to Bad Guy by Billy Eilish.

However, on more elaborate, orchestral-sounding pieces like Hey Rosetta’s For The Oft Suffering, the earphones also offered surprising detail.
