Finally, Samsung caught the Galaxy Fold subject to extensive testing in advanced assurance labs. One of these durability tests was the Wear Test.
In the wear test, the machines are turned on and off 200 thousand times. This number is equivalent to turning a phone on and off 100 times a day for approximately 5 years. The test takes 1 week to complete. Samsung made such a decision to ensure the durability of its new resistive baki screen and hinged design.
