Small problems experienced during the transition to iOS 8 do not stop.. As we wrote above, one of the minor problems is iOS 8 disappearing contacts after update. Alas, do not worry that my phone list is lost, the solution to this problem is very simple.
You will be able to easily bring your contacts to your iPhone by following the steps below.
Step 1: The first thing you should do is to check if you are logged into your iCloud account.. To be sure, go to Settings > iCloud.. If you have not logged in, complete your login with your Apple username and password without waiting.. If you’re already signed in, skip to Step 2.
Step 2: In iCloud, make sure Contacts is turned on (green). Activate this section if it is closed. If your contacts haven’t arrived yet 3. Switch to step.
Step 3: Settings > Disable contacts tab in iCloud path. It will ask you if you want to delete the contacts you synced before, select yes to delete it. Do not worry, because this process will ask you whether you want to delete the contact list locally on your phone, so your contacts in your iCloud account will not be deleted. Activate it again.
Your process is complete. Your deleted contacts are back. You can use it comfortably.
If your contacts still seem unfulfilled, it means that alarm bells are ringing for you.. There are two possibilities here; firstly, your internet access may be turned off, you need to have your data communication turned on or connected to a Wi-Fi line for this process, and secondly, your contacts may not have been backed up to your iCloud account or deleted from there.
To find out if your backups have been deleted, go to icloud.com. You can check whether your contact list has been deleted by entering your Apple username and password there.. If it has been deleted, you have no choice but to drink a glass of water, as you cannot bring back something that does not exist.. If your contacts are still there, try step 3 and step 4 again.
