Opening a Port on a Modem

Hello

In this article, I will explain how to solve the port forwarding problem experienced by most of those who use sever applications on their computers.

First of all, in this article, according to the modem Airties Air5453 we have We will explain, but there are more or less similar settings in the modems you use.

The first step is to enter the interface of the modem.. In order to enter the interface, you need to enter the ip address according to your modem in the address section of your browser.. Usually used addresses are https://192.168.2.1 or https://192.168.1.1

After you enter the interface, your modem will ask you for a password or username / password. The modem I use only asks for a password.. The password will probably be “empty”, admin, ttnet” one of these three. If it asks for a username, it will be one of the “admin, root, ttnet” trio.. If the above combinations do not work, enter the model and brand of the modem you are using in the search engine, and then type the default password, possibly the manufacturer page of the modem you are using, and the necessary information will be written.. If you forgot your modem’s password after changing it, please contact your modem’s manufacturer.

After reaching the home page, there will probably be a bar on the left. My modem has a direct port forwarding option, if you do not have a “Port Forwarding” section, it will probably be under the “NAT” heading.

After finding and selecting the port forwarding option, “Port Forwarding is Enabled” ” box is empty You can open Port forwarding by clicking this box. After turning on port forwarding, we click on the new text and then a new empty bar appears.. In this bar, we need to write the IP address of our computer in the LAN IP Section.. (To find your computer’s ip address, you can check out our article Lan IP, MAC ADDRESS, Modem IP learning.) There is a protocol type right next to Lan IP, the protocols change according to the server program you will install from here. I use TCP/UDP myself.

LAN The port is the port from which the program exits from the computer, WAN Port is the port that exits to the Internet from your modem.. You will write the ports according to the program you have installed here.. For example, if you are going to set up a web server, the port used by the web is 80 and you need to write 80 to Lan.. If you want to output from the same port from the modem, you need to write 80 to the WAN.. After your operations are completed, we click on the Active option and confirm the operations, and then click on save.

See you in the next article, as our operations are completed.
